Hollis Moore grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where she learned the value of hard work from her entrepreneurial father, and the importance of service from her mother who was a teacher and a nurse. The allure of the Rocky Mountains brought her out west in the early 1990’s where she earned a BA in English with a minor in Psychology from the University of Denver. She initiated into Delta Gamma Fraternity and held several leadership positions within her chapter including Rituals Chairperson, and Well-Aware Chairperson. She was honored with the Award for Outstanding Senior as well as the Patricia Peterson-Daniels award for Overall Chapter Role Model. Her post collegiate work included Executive level positions in customer service, project management, marketing, and sales in a variety of industries. Always looking for a challenge, Hollis went back to school to earn a Master’s Degree in Cross Cultural Education and her teaching certification for grades 7-12 Language Arts from National University in LaJolla, California. She taught both middle and high school language arts, and was the school wide coordinator of the college-prep elective program, A.V.I.D. While teaching, Hollis coached high school field hockey and middle school lacrosse.
In 2004, she underwent a study in Leadership Development, and decided to start her own business, Moore From Life, LLC.
